Several weeks ago, I was able to get back into the teaching mode of scrapbooking. So exciting!!! I love to share. Six crafty ladies and myself had a great time. As you can see we got a little bit messy, but that is the best part about being creative. That's my motto, "I'm not messy, I'm creative".

I create this little 6x6 mini book using the new Bo Bunny winter line. It is fun to watch that ugly chipboard turn into something beautiful, just by adding layers of paper, stickers and embellishments. I used both sticker sheets, ribbon, buttons, netting, gems, beads, stick pins and a few other little doodads. I used the CTMH cricut cartridge to cut out snowflakes, a little card, and the insert. I used the CTMH snowflake stamps. I always like it when I can incorporate my Martha scoreboard. Add all this together with a little bit of hot glue, pop dots and a lot of adhesive and VOILA you have an adorable little winter keepsake book.

Looking forward to another weekend of crafting with friends and I'm hoping to accomplish a few more upcoming classes. As well as a little bit of relaxation. Have a scrappy day everyone!

I have made a promise to myself to "Blog". This doesn't come easy for me, not sure why it just does. I think its much easier to just be seen, than to be heard. However, I am determined.

I wanted to share with you about the "Fantastic" day I had on Saturday. I was privileged to be able to attend a "Croppin for a Cause", charity crop, that was hosted by two friends Mandy Stowers and Brittani Andis.

This crop was a benefit for Every Dog Counts Rescue. EDCR believes that truly "every dog counts" regardless of age, breed, injury or disability. They take dogs that are facing death, place them into loving foster homes. Many of these dogs suffer from neglect, abandonment or medical issues. They are tended to with love, until a permanent family adopts them. Expenses for EDCR are astronomical.

Now let me tell you about this awesome group of Ladies that I call my friends. By "Croppin for a Cause" and due to the generosity of about 46 croppers, over $1500 and 2 truck loads of supplies were donated to EDCR. It was unbelievable!!! The love and generosity of these women know no boundaries. As I sat at my crop table, I stopped and just listened to the sounds of laughter, sharing of ideas, stories and more giggles.

It was a great day! So to my "fellow scrapbookers" aka my dearest friends. I salute you, job well done!!!!!
