And another month flies by, in a blink. WOW!!! First class at Daisy Lane deemed as successful (at least I feel great about it). What a nice bunch of ladies.  I appreciated this opportunity very much. Halloween mini is a cutie. The spooky tree, was my favorite part of the book. Eight ladies took this class and every tree came out a little bit different. Best part of scrap booking is the "personalization" of each creation. The tree was made using small rolled up napkin pieces coating in glossy accents, very messy but worth it. Halloween mini date for home is Oct 20 I have a few seats available.
Preparing to get the Christmas mini book samples completed this week. Need to do 3, I'm going to be busy again!!!  Can't to get started.
Happy Scrapping - Scrappy Friends.!!

This busy summer is just flying by. I can't believe it's almost September already. I'm not ready for Fall or Winter (I much prefer the Summer "heat waves". In any case its coming soon my friends.

I have been working of several new classes. The first of which is a "travel" mini book. That will be just perfect for showcasing your tropical vacation photos. It's packed with the usual ribbon, stickers, flowers, chalk and lots of fun.

This class will be held on Sept. 29, please email me for the details. We have a new class location, no worries its very close to the old location and will be much better. Halloween mini book (that is adorable) is coming in Oct, Christmas cards in Nov, and a "sweet" little mini book for Christmas in December. So excited about all of them.
I also wanted to share that I'm still busy doing some work for Daisy Lane (located in Mattoon, IL). I'm anxiously awaiting some of their new stamps they purchased at CHA to make some card samples for them. I have also been added to their class calendar in Oct and Nov. Even more excitement.
Finding it hard to sleep to many creative "ideas" roaming around in my head. I just wish they'd show up more in the daylight hours. Have a "scrappy day"!!!

Just spent 3 days in Chicago, at CHA. Am overwhelmed as always with the talent on displayed there. Just stood and marveled in the samples that were available to see, Took lots and lots of pictures, but they do not come close to expressing the beauty and detail in the projects. Several brand new stamp companies that are fantastic.I could have stood for hours in just one spot and watched Dyan Reaveley a designer from Ranger Ink work, she is absolutely  amazing. Learned several new techniques that I can't wait to try. I was inspired by it all and can't wait to get through my work day today and play in my scrap room this weekend. Getting ready to set up some new class dates, have projects picked out and ordered and can't wait to start. Will share class dates as soon as I can. I am also working on a date to travel to Daisy Lane in IL to teach a class or two for them. Yeah, for rejuvenation!!!!! Have a great weekend every one.

Just look at me, I have done it again. Waited a whole month to post on my blog. I may never get the hang of this. Good news is 5 graduation mini books, 1 retirement book, 2 sets of grad open house invites and one set of thanks notes DONE.

Also picked up another little side job, I will be designing some cards for Daisy Lane Scrapbooking store located in Mattoon, IL. Just finished the first set of cards, I think the were testing me with the stamps they gave me to work with. I managed though, and am very excited to be working for them. If anyone would like to know more about Daisy Lane you can friend them on Facebook or check out their website. Absolutely awesome store and very nice owners. Its a little bit of a drive over there, but not bad if you can carpool and it is very much worth the trip.

Planning to scrapbook tomorrow with at good friend and I am working on some of my own grand kids pictures. Doing layouts for myself its a "Christmas" miracle in June. I will post some pictures of them in the next couple of day.

Happy Scrapping!!!

Graduation time means lots of projects going on. I have done 2 graduations invitation orders and I'm in the process of working on 6 "mini" 2012 graduation books. I am almost done. If I can keep my fingers out of my paper trimmer that will help. Learned a valuable lesson this past week, when they say the blade is "sharp" they mean it. Three stitches, who knew scrapbooking could be dangerous. After the graduation goodies are finished going to start a retirement book for a very special friend of mine.
Looking forward to starting my next class project, an 8x8 vacation mini featuring the Graphic 45 travel line. Will share more about that soon.

Busy weekend for me, taught the "Little Darlings" mini book class on Saturday. I so appreciate the group of ladies that attended the class. Its so much fun to share the hobby you love. Can hardly wait to start working on my next class project. Graphic 45 again!!!!

Have several other projects to work on this week, one of my Aunts is turning 70, so I'm working on a book for her. I'm doing her front page and all of her party guests are bringing an 8x8 page to add to the album. Show be interesting to see all the different pages and styles. The other project I'm actually doing for myself, that doesn't happen to often. I will share some photos when its finished and I have given myself a deadline of May 7 to finish it. We see if I make it.

Enjoy your week "scrappy friends".
